About Me

Hi, I’m Natalie!

I’m a Calgary-based speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping children communicate with confidence. Whether your child is just starting to talk, struggling with certain sounds, or needs support connecting socially, I’m here to help guide the way.

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Medical Science and Biology at Western University in 2017 and went on to earn my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from City, University of London in 2022. I'm registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) and am a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).

I have extensive experience working with children with a wide range of speech, language, and social communication challenges. I have a particular interest in working with children who have speech sound disorders and love supporting families as we work together toward meaningful goals.

My approach is play-based, child-led, and centred on building strong relationships. I believe that when therapy feels fun, supportive, and connected, children are more engaged—and that’s when real progress happens. I work closely with parents and other professionals to make sure we’re all working toward the same goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the outdoors when I can.

MY
EDUCATION

Over the years, I’ve received training in several evidence-based programs and approaches, including:
  • The Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), an early intervention model for young children with autism

  • DIR and DIRFloortime®, which focus on relationship-based, individualized supports

  • Hanen’s "More Than Words" program, which empowers parents to support communication at home

  • The Lidcombe Program, a parent-led treatment for preschool-age children who stutter

  • Additional training in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), play-based therapy, and speech sound disorders

In-home speech therapy

I provide speech and language services in the comfort of your home. Sessions are available in Calgary and select surrounding areas. My goal is to make therapy convenient, personalized, and stress-free for your family.

If you have questions or concerns about your child’s speech or language development, I’d love to connect.
